Fashion vs Politics

In my 20's (that's right only a couple of years ago) I used to say that smoking and drinking is just like bacon and eggs, they just go together so well.

So on Monday morning when I heard the news about Galliano's outburst, the first thought that came to mind was " fashion and Politics"? no! I really wanted to say "why don't people stick to what they are good at"? but considering Galliano's fatal flops over the past couple of years, which left people questioning Dior's decision in making him head of design, I can barley say stick to what you are good at.  But I can totally say Bravo to Christian Dior, a company that at any cost was not going to tolerate a designer's nonsense, no matter how much they drank and under the influence of whatever they may be.

With the rise of Prejudice and genocide in the world, there has never been a better time to become a member of the Holocaust museum Houston (or wherever you live).  As a member of the board I invite you to check out our website at www.hmh.org and become a member today. This year our museum will Honor Mia Farrow for her great achievements as a human rights activist .  You don't have to be Jewish to join the museum or to help stop Genocide and Prejudice in the world.  Another organization that does amazing work is the Enough Project, check them out too.

By the way, just as well that Galliano has been a great fan of Jean Paul Gaultier's stripy shirts...

Help make our world a better place to be!
